Lazies, We just went back to press with our Lazy and Lovin’ It book. So what better way to celebrate than to host a giveaway and share the fun. I’ll be giving away a book and ruler to two lucky Lazies. Details and a video demo of the ruler below.

Our Lazy Angle ruler joined the Creative Grids family of excellent products last year. Since that time, I’ve designed a few quilts using the ruler. Above is a close-up of the blocks in Tea Garden. The green leaves around the floral centers are all Lazy Angle blocks.
The ‘Littles’ patterns below are charm pack friendly! Quick and easy projects.

Our ASG, American Sewing Guild, gets together every month to sew for charity all day and do we have scraps? Absolutely! Several of us like to do quilts for the foster children and more so this book and ruler would be perfect! I’m one of the quilters.
We also like to use scraps for your Runaround Bag, which is one of my favorites along with the Sassy, for the teenage girls. Small but so useful and they just love them! We get the fun of sewing and they get the fun of having and using them all to themselves.
Many of these children have little to nothing so these prizes sure would make our sewing faster and easier. LOL
It’s fun to put scrappy blocks for the front under the zipper. VBG

I love this Lazy Girl Technique. My mother was a sewer but worked in a fabric house that did nothing but pijamas in the early 40′s and 50′s. How she would have loved the nowadays techniques and the Lazy girl techniques. She loved purses and quilts but never could figure how to do them without a printed pattern.

I love them both! The ruler looks awesome, but I would love the book, too! I am just now getting into quilting. I found some beautiful Cake squares, and a jelly roll of the same fabrics. They have spring colors in the fabrics. Right now, I am working on one of 3 wall quilts. I will finish #1 before going on the the 2nd or 3rd. If I don’t do this, they will sit in the closet for years. LOL The one I am doing, is for my husband. It is a travel themed quilt. I am making one for my son for Christmas that is Texas themed. He grew up here in Texas, but his wife was from Mississippi, where they now live. The other one is for me. =) It will be farm themed. I love all the colors in all of the wall quilts. Eventually, I want to do one for Christmas. Also I have the pattern for a table runner that I want to make. Just need about 60 hours a day to do all I want.

I love the idea of a single ruler that I can use to make multiple blocks. I’ve tried to limit how many rulers I buy, but it seems that every pattern needs a specific ruler so I don’t spend excessive amounts of time just doing the cutting. this ruler makes it look so easy ,less waste of fabrics that a good thing for me plus it,s not very big so that makes it easy to contol on cutting board . i have several rulers from this brand and i like them all ,easy to see numbers easy to contol no slipping ,make it well worth my money for buying more rulers ,wonderful ruler.thanks
I guess this ruler could even teach us “old dogs” a few new tricks. I love to learn new ways of creating traditional blocks. Video clips really help review how to use new rulers and products.

I was a quilting virgin until a few months ago and now I am obsessed with finding out the best and quickest way to produce some beautiful designs. I really want this book and ruler as, having watched the video it seems like a brilliant tool to have and having just come out of hospital sewing is the one thing I am able to do!
