Lazies, Today we take a look at this bright and beautiful quilt from Tammy Tadd of Tammy Tadd Designs ^[1]. Tammy told me that she loves brights and I have to say that she knows how to use them! Tammy shows us two different versions of her ‘Plaid About You’ quilt. The bright, crisp and clean colors of this quilt make me feel like Spring will be here any second. Here’s Tammy:
There is nothing I love more than the “cottage” feel of florals and plaids together. ‘Plaid About You’ is one of those projects that just makes me “happy”. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s quick and easy too!

From the first time that I saw this bed of daisies, my mind was immediately thinking of the endless possibilities of beautiful things that I could make.

You see, I love decorating! So when I look at fabric and quilts, I naturally start visualizing the entire room and I get so excited. Just think of the window treatments, bed skirt, throw pillows, rugs, even covered lampshades you can make! Be sure you get extra fabric for some great coordinates.

Take a look at the simple elements of this quilt. I’ve used a nine-patch, a flower block, sashing strips, a couple of borders, and half square triangles for corner blocks. This project is great for beginners. Use the same panel of daisies to make either the pink or purple version.
